Wanted Southeast Man Arrested At Scene Of Dispute
Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports the recent arrest of a wanted man at the scene of a dispute in the Town of Southeast.
On January 15, 2012 at 1:14 a.m., Deputy Sheriff Thomas Lee responded to a report of a family dispute at 790 Route 312 in the Town of Southeast. Upon arrival and subsequent investigation, the deputy determined that no crime had been committed; however, the deputy determined that one of the residents, identified as Michael J. Cummings, 22, was the subject of an active Dutchess County-issued arrest warrant. The deputy took Mr. Cummings into custody and subsequently turned the man over to the custody of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office pending further action.
